C65 cab on c20?

I always loved the small back windows and our body style only had them in the bigger trucks, so I want to drop a cab from a bigger truck with the small window onto my frame. Is it possible? what mods will I have to do? Has it been done before? anyone have pics if so?

The cab corner area is quite a bit different I know. I'm not sure what else is different. I entertained the thought when I was looking for a donor cab.

I don't recall anything different with the cab corners, but the floor & lower firewall are for sure. I would think more about swapping the back panel onto a regular cab would be a better plan if your set on the look. My Two Cents, Lorne

I agree with Lorne, would be easier to cut the small window out and graft it onto another cab.

Oh yea, I forgot about the back area, however I still think the whole back panel is doable if someone wanted to. If you look @ the back of a regular cab...just below the spotwelds that attach the rear crossmember/floor, the panel rolls in slightly & then is cut off. It appears to me that all you would need to do is cut off the "skirt" area of the C60 into the same shape the right along the strengthening rib shown in your photo of the C60 which would then be the same as a reg. cab & weld it on the the regular cab crossmember/floor.
