When you initially filled the transmission, did you check the fluid level with the engine running in park?  Did you then recheck the fluid level after shifting it between reverse, drive and park?

I checked it on parked it showed it didn't have enough and then I put more into it it look like it had enough but it won't go into gear.

Did you reuse the TH350 dipstick?  Did you remove the trans pan for any reason?  What torque converter did you use?

Yeah it's the same dipstick for the th350 and I didn't touch the pan or nothing they gave me the transmission and the TC and I place it on the tranny and put it in then turn the car on and didn't want to catch any gears just reverse. I first put 12 quarts of trans oil and then added cause I thought it needed more but didn't work either.

Will it shift into gear and transfer torque to the driveline if you disconnect the external linkage and shift it manually using the shift lever at the transmission (don't attempt this unless the vehicle is safely on jack stands with the tires off the ground, the park brake is firmly applied, and you're completely clear of the wheels, with an assistant nearby)?  If it goes into gear using the shift lever at the trans, correct/adjust the linkage.

Otherwise, since you just purchased the 'rebuilt' trans and your confident it's full of fluid (and the fluid isn't foamy), contact the seller, so you don't forfeit any warranty.

It just stays in neutral nothing happens. After I manually shift it into gears.

You don't have a transfer case in neutral, do you?  And, the converter is bolted tight to the flexplate?

The problem could be as simple as an improperly installed filter.  Or, it could be more serious.  Don't void your warranty; contact the seller.

Well I'm guessing I don't have it on neutral. Yes they are tight. One of my neighbors checked it out and said that the tranny isn't good and that the valve body isn't sending oil to gears for it to shift. And I contacted the seller and said he would come today and I was wondering about the pressure switch does? Because I have order a kit for the lock up but I just decided to do it externally does that maybe have something to do to it?

The converter lock-up circuits have no effect on the transmission going into gear.  However, once you get the transmission up and shifting, you'll need the TCC functioning or the trans will overheat and die.

So then it should be mechanical I'll just let the seller see it and see what his going to do
