Thinking about buying an 81 c10 2wd long bed not in top bad of shape some of the wires under the dash fried I can get this truck dirt cheap and its not in all that bad of shape  have a wiring harness out of an 84 i am wondering if,its worth my time to adapt the 84 wiring harness,to the 81 or buy a wiring harness

     73 - 82 is the kit that this site sells, so the 84 will have to be modified.  How much it will have to be modified I can not tell you, it depends I guess on what items were different on the 2 trucks, could be minimal or a lot.
     I also assume the connectors on a lot of the ends are different.

One difference that I know of is the turn signal stalk on the 84 holds the wiper and dimmer switch.  I put a 84 column in a 1982 and it wasn't that big of deal to get it to work off the column

I figured it wouldn't be too bad for 600 bucks inspected till 1-15 and the body isn't too bad either
