I recently came across a steal: an older model Hurst 3-speed column-conversion shifter. Now, does anyone have any ideas on how to hook up the linkage. I already know that the shift pattern's gonna be reversed because of the location I mounted it (about 6 inches from my lead-foot leg for easy access from the IROC buckets I have in it!). It came with linkage that sort of unscrews to adjust length, but they're not nearly long enough. I guess the guys at Hurst(Mr.Gasket Co., now) must've thought every truck was gonna use the bench seat so the shifter would be mounted closer to the factory linkage. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
