Help, my fillings are coming loose

Well not really but...

I want to put new springs in my C30, 9000 GVW rated with no overloads present.  I thought C30's had overload rear springs but mine don't.  My C20 is rated 8600 GVW and rides nice.  The springs are more arched while the C30 is flat.  Am I to assume the C20 springs are maybe thinner and by having an arch is the reason there is some give?  Would a spring shop be able to tell me.  All I know is I want the C30 riding like my C20.  Both trucks sit about the same height.  Need some guidance from someone who has maybe been through something similar or is spring savvy.  Thanks in advance.

How many springs does your C20 have? My C20 Camper Special had 9 springs per side and a 8600 lb GVWR.

I haven't looked to count.  I just know the C30 has very little give if you try to bounce the rear of the truck by standing on the step bumper versus the C20.  It is the roughest riding truck I have ever had.  I will look this weekend to compare and take pictures of the leaf stack on each truck and post...

Make sure everything is moving ie nothing frozen, springs can move etc. You can just jack it up and down while observing. If it turns out it's just stiff springs and worn shocks, you can just replace them with some better springs/shocks. Other options are 4 link, air ride etc.
