goofed my bumper
« on: February 13, 2017, 07:08:01 pm »
So a buddy of mine called me to pull him out when he got stuck ass end first in a creek and since i dont have a tow ball on my 85 swb i hooked the tow strap around the rear right mount for the bumper that connects to my frame. Well that broke the bolts and now the bumper is hangin for dear life on that side. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start? The bumper is fine and so is the frame only the bracket that connects the bumper to the frame broke off the frame and the bolts. Ill add pictures tomorrow if needed. thanks guys!

The metal of the frame providing the hole for the bolt isn't damaged is it?

Mine have become loose lately for some reason. Troubled with rust as well so the bolts need to be replaced.

When I find a place to replace the bolts, (auto-zone or home depot last resort) I'll post here.
