73 Grill with Universal Core Support

So I have a universal core support that is missing the out side edge grill screw locations. Discussed here: http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=29462.0.
The thread and others like it suggest using the outside brackets, which I have, and the holes on the center of the core support, which i have, but there are no center holes on my grill.  Any thoughts or experience?  Below is a pic i stole from ebay because I dont have a pic of my grill handy.  There are no holes.

Those holes are in the center support bracket, not the core support.

VileZambonie,

Thanks for the quick reply.  The core support I have is missing the brackets for the holes near the corners of the grill.  The center support that you are talking about is what I want to mount to, but there are no screw holes / flanges in my grill for that support.

This is what the support looks like.  I have no holes that match up to the plastic screw inserts.

Post a picture of your actual grille. You should have 6 mounting screw holes in the grille, 73-74 GMC and Chevy end brackets are different. The 73-74 center support is the same.
