Don't get depressed about the finace' man just imagine if you married her!

Now to your new woman, did you tap the crank with a
7/16-20 tap? A heli coil will work if it is completely gone, just don't use the bolt to draw in the balancer, use an installer.

Another update:

Bought a new carb today.  Edelbrock 1400 performer series 600cfm.

So the truck runs great for about 2 minutes, then starts flooding out and wont run anymore.  It usually takes a couple minutes every time I try to start it up.

This truck is becoming more of a headache than it's worth.

Any ideas?

Get the crank balancer solved??

Gas problem....perhaps floats not closing the needle off and gas keeps on a coming.

Floats may have a hole or simply not adjusted to kick the needle closed.

just a thought

Yeah the crank problem was fixed.  I guess I just keep jumping from one problem to another so fast that I don't have time to post the results of the last problem... lol

Yeah we're gonna look at the floats tomorrow... I just couldn't believe they would need to be adjusted seeing as how it's brand new.  But I guess it could be.  Hopefully that fixes it.
