I found an add for two turbo 400 trannys for 75 bucks a piece. I have been wanting to swap in a turbo 400 for my sm465, but my question is what all is involved in this swap? I'd assume that the crossmember mount would be the same, but doesn't the output shaft on the turbo 400 need to long in a 4x4 application? My pickup is 4x4, so i was wondering what all would be involved in this switch, i know the basics, mounting, cooling, etc., but i'm sure there are few unexpected things i don't know about. any help would be appreciated.
