decisions, decisions
« on: August 16, 2006, 10:20:00 pm »
Sometimes I'm the kinda guy that has a hard time making decisions, and I'm needing some opinions. I've been debating on what color to paint my 85. I'm thinking of trying to do what I can myself so I'll probably go with a lighter more forgiving color. I thought about silver/grey or white. What do you guys think? And what about this- chrome front bumper or painted? I was leaning towards a painted front bumper, I thought it'd go nice with phantom billet grille I have. If I do I think I'll  weld some studs on the inside and smooth the  front side up a bit by filling the carriage bolt holes. There are  many options, I just like em all- 2wd, 4wd, lowered, lifted, stock height, mags, truck rallies, bed rails, bed covers, etc, etc.

I think painted really only looks good if you paint all of the accents. Like moldings, trim, mirrors etc to match. If you're gonna do it though do it right and the way YOU want it. Try photoshopping paint schemes and colors.

i myself have lately come up with two-tone scheme:

All piano black and white in the middle.

This may merely be a phase i'm going through., but i think it would be interesting, simple, cheap, and effective.
