My project
« on: May 16, 2007, 10:44:19 pm »
Well here is the truck I am working on.  It is my old 4x4 that has been in the family forever and had been parked for the last 12 years before I started on it last year.  The worst part about it was repainted in the late 80's with Lacquer and was checked and peeling.  The only rust on the truck was the left cab corner and it is replaced now.  I am not real good about taking pictures so there are some big gaps in the process.

Here is the frame and you can see the donor blazer and spare cab in the background.

Here it is sitting in my shop where it has been for most of the last year.

Here we are getting the doors and fenders bolted up and checking alignment.

Here is another getting everything aligned and squared up.

It is an 83...but there are parts from 78 to 95 on it.  It won't ever be a a show stopper but hopefully it will be a decent toy when it gets finished.  Let me rephrase that...I don't think it will ever be finished but when it is together
