Hi,
My GMG 1986 (diesel converted to gaz motor) is my everyday and work truck.
Since 2 weeks, I wa hearing some high-pitched noise when I released the clutch pedal.
No matter if the clutch was engaged or neutral, even transfert case or any shift, as sson as the pedal
was released, that noise appears.
I noticed that when I was pushing just a little bit the pedal (like 1 inch) , the noise disappears.
One of my friend suggested me to check the oil level (yeah it's hydraulic).
It was almost empty so I pour brake fluid and checked if it was okay, the sound was faint but still there.
So I suspected air in hydraulic lines, no biggy I said to myself, I'll bleed it this weekend ...
Today, this afternoon at work, I started the truck but the pedal clutch suddenly went down and never
came back, leaving the clutch always engaged. I immediatly stop the engine.
I had so put the transmission on L (this is a 4 speeds) and crank the motor (I hacked my neutral safety switch so I don't have to push the pedal to crank) and went home, shifting thru gears without using the pedal clutch, just by listening to the motor revving at the right time ( I know it could be harmful if I missed but I had no choice ).
I went under the truck and the slave master cylinder has brake fluid drops, could it be broken ?
Is this an expensive part ?
Thanks for any helps ! I need my truck for working !
Also, I've ordered a 4" lift kit and it should be ready for Friday, I wish I could fix the truck this weekend

Friendly,
Ray.
