It is a 5.3L LT with the Z71 offroad package. It is fully loaded and has Katskin leather interior. I love my new truck. Just thought I would share.

My company truck is a Ford...it causes me alot of grief being a chevy guy but the way I look at it saves me several thousand a year in gas insurance and payment.  So I gladly drive it!

If I had the extra cash I wouldn't mind doing something like that. I seen on tv one of those kits put on a vette and it was a pretty impressive HP gain. This is my first ever brand new truck, I always bought used before. I am going to try to keep it simple and not go too crazy with the mods.

Same here. I work for the Telephone/Cable company and I have a F250 company truck that I put all the miles on. They pay for gas and that thing is a pig. It gets about 9 MPG and I fill it up about every 3-4 days at about $100 a pop. This is the reason your phone and cable bill keeps going up. I figured it out once that just in our office there is about 75 trucks out and about at any given day and they are all f250's. So at about $200 a week per truck at 75 trucks that is $15,000 a week spent just in gas. We are one out of seven offices here in Phoenix and we are one of the smaller offices. A person could easily retire from what this company spends in gas in one month just here in Phoenix.

I know whatya mean about the company vehicle and stuff.  My sub gets about 11 mpg, but, my sheriff's car, it doesn't matter what the mpg is.  ;D

looks good for one of those new chevy trucks. don't really like the front of them. i'm a chevy man all the way but if i was to get a new truck it would have to be a FORD. either an extended cab 4x4 F-150 or a Powerstroke. can't beat the looks of them and plus they're nice.

I smell a bbq >:( lol

I hate Fords they all suck (.)

edit* congrats on the new truck man

I bought an 07 gmc sierra classic extended cab shortbed about 8 months ago now. It has the 5.3 flex fuel v8. I love that truck also. So cool truck man.

Here is my truck with the front leveling kit and new wheels. It looks sweet. Also debadged the whole truck.
