350 Motor Install

Hi Folks 

It's been awhile since I last posted but been busy on the ole gal.  I am installing the crate 350 when I noticed that the motor sits at a slight angle (10 degrees from horizontal) - tilting toward the rear.  This is with the Th400 trans and driveshaft installed.  I was always told that the carburator needs to sit level.  I forgot to notice if it was like this when removed the original motor.  Do I need a higher trans mount to "lift" the rear of the motor to level it out or, leave it as it is? 

Any thoughts....

If you just pulled the motor out and put it back in and you are using the stock stuff, the angle is correct.  It should be more like 3-4 degrees though for the driveline.  The intake manifold is planed level for the angle of the motor being installed.

Removed the old 350 and installed the new crate 350 with edelbrock intake manifold (decided not to use stock intake) - no other changes.
