Not sure which choice to make 4/5 or 5/5

I'm in the process of getting all the information I need before ordering my lowering parts and installing. I'm going to go with a DJM kit but I'm not sure which route I should go. I'm going to be running 225/70/15 front and 255/70/15 rear for now since I can't afford new tires at the moment. Eventually, I will run 275/60/15 rear and 255/60/15 front. So for now, I want to make sure the front 225/70 doesn't rub. DJM makes a complete 5/5 kit for $460. Or, I can go with a complete DJM 3/5 kit for $320, and add a 1'' spring (probably McGaughy's) for an additional $150, to make for a 4/5. If I want to go lower, in the future, with the smaller tires I plan to run, I can always sell the 1'' springs and go with a 2'' for a 5'' front drop. The biggest concern is clearing the 225/70/15 front tires for now. Also, do the leaf spring bolts usually snap and break during these installs? I'm pretty sure the DJM kits come with new leaf u-bolts, but I don't think they come with new shackle/hanger spring bolts. Should I probably buy these as well as new leaf spring bushings? How hard to install new leaf spring bushings?

Your tires will not clear. As far as the leaf spring bushings unless you have a press you'll never get em in and out. The aftermarket bushings go in much easier. Personally I would save up for the tires and do it all at once so you have it the way you want the first time.

Makes sense. I know the 60 series tire will clear. I think I am going to tackle the bed rust problems first, save up, and do the drop next summer. By that time, I will be finished with school and will have a good job. Plus, by that time, the tires will be worth replacing. My current p265/75/15 tires are practically new.
