brake system

how do you determine what braking system you have? i went up to the 'zone to get new calipers and there are apparently several different braking systems....

82 1500 with a 305/ lwb if anyone knows off the top of there heads.

JB1 is the standard 1" rotors on 81-87's
JB3 is the HD 1.25" rotors for the 81-87/ Standard on the 73-80's

There are other options also. JB3 I believe is light duty and JB5 is heavy duty. You can tell by looking at the brake booster most of the time if the spid label is missing. The JB3 has the smaller booster while JB5 has the big fatty. At least all of the ones I've seen.

finally got the giggered thing fixed, it was the jb5/etc/etc 1.25 inch rotors

gonna have my rear brakes adjusted monday, as they dont currently do anything. \o/
