No that's a reasonable price for overports.  From what I hear they are the best factory heads ever made for the BBC.  They combine the high velocity of an oval with the max flow of the rectangle.  Ask any veteran hot rodder, he'll teach you to respect the overports.

 Except for the restoration value I don't see anything special about the 702 head, The 049 and 781's flow just as good as the 702's at 300 and 600 lift.

IF they were JUST rebuilt with SS valves, new springs etc. That would be reasonalbe (I had $1800 in mine) But those I consider used and they aren't much better than the 049 781 heads.

THE HEADS ARE BRAND NEW, THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN RAN SINCE REBUILT???  Well which is it, new or rebuilt?
