t56 swap?
« on: April 06, 2009, 12:06:13 am »
I was just wondering wat all it would take to swap a t56 into a 80 c10? It currently has a 3 spd manual if the t56 wouldnt work are there any common direct bolt in 4 spds?

Will the T5 (firebird) fit, yeah, will it last probably not if you plan to abuse it  they were put behind 350's for a reason.

There are a few companies making retrofits for new trannys.  http://www.keislerauto.com/ is said to have the most compolete set of parts.
