K10 or C10?

So what are the differences between the designation K10 and C10?  When and what was each used on?

K = 4WD
C = 2WD
For the 1973-86
in 87
R= 2WD
V= 4WD

10= 1/2 ton, 20 3/4, 30 = 1 ton
