Check the fuse would be where I would start. You might get lucky and that is all that's wrong. Sometimes you can see a problem with a circuit board, sometimes you can't. I had a bad one effecting my gas gauge when the lights were on. $35 later at the local pick n pull I landed a new one with a quartz clock in it.
