I sold my 04' and the Elcamino and bought this headache 92 GMC 1500 454/400. Runs pretty good but shes got problems like anything else.

Nothing that isn't fixable.  A 1/2 ton shortbed with 454 is an awesome combination regardless of body style.  And I LOVE that color.  Will it be a driver or do you have plans for it?

3K I thought so. Don't smoke, runs strong everything works, power, air, cruise ect...
I have to check the lift of the cam to see what it is. Kinda think it might be to big for the TBI.

Didn't think you could get a 454 in a half ton unless you bought the SS  You sure someone hasn't swapped that in under the 350's TBI and its starving for fuel?

Or maybe the stock smallblock chip was never swapped out? Few things to check there.

I'm wondering what's the name of paint and number came from that 1992 GMC 1500?

My gallon of paint name is Bright Blue Metallic and number is #5215 (that's for my modified 1984 GMC/Silverado)

My new paint looks pretty similar to that '92 GMC 1500, I think mine is little darker than that.

BTY, my old avatar is not mine. Just showing what I'm plan to painting like that blue color for my Truck, not 2 tone, just on top one. I like one color looks better on mine.
