What happened to the gold O.E. grille Bowtie, and the "Bowtie 1500" door emblems?

the gold bowtie was chipped  and i had a billit bowtie so i thought it would be a suttle upgrade, and the truck had been painted by the P.O. because the clear was peeling off, so i guess the 1500 door emblems never made it back on the doors, but i am going to replace them as well as the one on the tail gate and the silverado emblems, they are all showing some age.
