Quick question.
« on: February 25, 2010, 12:01:44 pm »
I have a pull off power steering pump. There's a 3/8 allen fitting in there. Do I pull the pulley or does that allen screw come out? I thought I'd unscrew it, but I can't break it loose. I searched and know how to get it off, but couldn't find anything for that allen.

So the pulley is held on by a nut? If so it's keyed and should just come off. Otherwise you need a power steering pump pulley puller to remove it.

I got it. Took a little more grunt than I anticipated. Thanks
