i have a 86 gmc sirrea 2500 .

i have a 86 gmc sierra 2500 with the 350 , it has the octopus system and i need to know what all connects to the water pump what brackets go where and what connects to the bottom bolt of the alternator the big long bolt .

It sounds like somebody tried to run that gas 350 on alcohol.

What's an octopus system?  You don't mean serpentine do you?
