68 Gears in a 84?

hey , my father has a positive unit with the clutches in a 68 chev C10 2wd , I was just wondering would it fit in a 84 housing?

I was , thanks for the reply , I have a posi unit in my fourwheel drive that i have for parts , the clutch type , so im going to using the rearend , and switch out the 6 lug axles with the 5 lug , pending the splines match up  :P
