« on: December 28, 2010, 07:16:16 pm »
Has anyone tackled this?  I have the vent window out and the new rubber.  I I have not taken the old rubber off.  I wanted to see if somone had done it and might have some advice for me....thanks!

You'll need a rivet gun and some pop rivets. Do a search we've had quite a few posts on this.

You will need certain sized rivets.

I did mine.  One window took 5 minutes and slid on like butter, and the other window took literally 8 to 10 hours of tweaking to make it work.   all on the same truck.    It's that inside curve that screws you up.   If you have patience though, it'l work out for you.  Mine seal better than most peoples' I've talked to and I just played with it, even once I put it in the door, and finally it worked better than new, said my grandad who bought the truck in '78
