350 machine cost

hi can anybody give me a reasonable cost to fully machine a block ...so i know if im over charged ...........lets say .040 over and check and crank

The last one I had done he charged me like $13.50 or 13.75 a hole to bore and hone.

Bore and hone 8 holes is usually about $180 bucks. Don't forget hot tank, align hone, decking, etc is more. If you don't have a cam bearing tool you're looking at about $40-60 bucks for that and core plugs. Hanging pistons on rods is usually about $10 bucks a rod so $80 bucks.

It varies by local. You need to call around and get prices. Cost here in VA would be different than your area.
