Gas tank sending unit...

Has anyone ever fixed a ground wire on one of these, Mine snapped right at the starting of the wire?

If you clean up the area you could probably solder it back on to the sending unit. And I dont know if this would be acceptable, but im sure someone on the forum will say yes or no, but you could probably put a terninal lug on the end and use a self tapping screw to screw it into the top of the sending unit.

    79c20 is right, either way will work if done right.  I prefer to replace, but I have soldered one before and it lasted a long time.
