Just a quick update!

I had my engine "refreshed" by a bloke 200 miles away via favour off a mate that owed me.

I spoke to the engine builder in the week to find out exactly what he'd done and if there was anything I needed to do prior to fitting & starting.

I found out he builds engines for the top fuellers/drag racers in the UK!!

So there was me previously concerned the 454 may only be "stock" only to find the guy went through the entire thing meticulously!

Crank polished + shells, honed, ringed, non-standard cam  and followers, lapped the valves, cleaned oil/water ways through, timing chain etc etc etc

To say I was chuffed is an understatement. When I asked is there anything left to do he said-paint it!

So, if all goes to plan it'll be back in the truck this coming weekend. Won't be ready to fire until I've sorted the wiring loom  but the truck will be back inside

If possible, list the exact model and year of the car the engine came from.

As far as I'm aware it was the original in the truck with only 85k
