Just a quick update!

I had my engine "refreshed" by a bloke 200 miles away via favour off a mate that owed me.

I spoke to the engine builder in the week to find out exactly what he'd done and if there was anything I needed to do prior to fitting & starting.

I found out he builds engines for the top fuellers/drag racers in the UK!!

So there was me previously concerned the 454 may only be "stock" only to find the guy went through the entire thing meticulously!

Crank polished + shells, honed, ringed, non-standard cam  ;D and followers, lapped the valves, cleaned oil/water ways through, timing chain etc etc etc

To say I was chuffed is an understatement. When I asked is there anything left to do he said-paint it!

So, if all goes to plan it'll be back in the truck this coming weekend. Won't be ready to fire until I've sorted the wiring loom  :( but the truck will be back inside  ;D

If possible, list the exact model and year of the car the engine came from.

As far as I'm aware it was the original in the truck with only 85k
