They never last since the glass drains in the door. Nothing you can cover them with I have ever seen helps. Plus it would need a lot of insulation to kill the tin can sound. And most of the time they end up getting kicked in..

And most of the time they end up getting kicked in..Thought about making some fiberglass enclosures that the speakers could mount into to resolve the drainage. Should help with the tin can sound too. Ever heard of anyone doing that?
