Has anyone installed the locking strip on the front wi dshield need help thanks

Of the many things I will and have torn into a windshield hasn't and most likely will never make my list. With that being said I did find something that may help you because it uses the same style gasket and clip..I think!

There's a specific tool for installing the strip.  with the tool, took me about a minute to install without, several hours...  have done it both ways.  tool's worth the $15 or so...
