Sometimes when the truck is really really dirty. I mix car was soap and dawn dish soap together. Works amazing.

Man you think that truck is ugly? LOL. My truck is ugly. On top of that it had a horrid old man/old truck smell when I got it which still sort of lingers after paint being sprayed inside.

You got yourself a good platform to work with and on and since you live in Chilliwack lots of good areas to test that 4x4  ;D

Truthfully, the truck is growing on me already. I've been a Toyota guy for the last 20 years, and I do lots of hunting/camping. I also have acreage in Quesnel that has a 4km 4x4 only driveway so this Chevy has been a bit of a transition for me.

The transition got a whole lot easier over the last couple of days when I picked up the complete set of shop manuals for 20 bucks. It got even better when I hit Lordco (our local parts chain) up for some door hinge pins, and was surprised to not only get the complete set for $20.00 but they also had them in stock. I think I'm gonna like this Chevy thing.

You will find that about half of the parts for these old trucks are on the shelf or in stock items at most auto parts stores.
