1974 C10

I had an 86 C10 LB that I had to sell when my youngest was born. I put alot of work into it, but family came first. Having to sell it hurt alot.

Fast forward years later and I found a 1974 C10 shortbed someone local was trying to unsuccessfully part out after its been sitting over 5 years. Its a 74 cab on an 80's frame with 80's fender, hood, trim, everything. I towed this truck home for $400.

Has an Olds 403 and an Olds turbo 350 trans. This truck is certainly pieced together.

Here's what it looked when I brought it home. I had a 74 radiator support and fenders in my shed.

Here's what it looks like now. I found a hood and grill.

Plans are to drop it with a 6/8 with 15x10 for an old nascar style c10, pull the Olds stuff to install in an 84 Buick Electra to make a sleeper. I'm a huge roadkill fan so I found an iron block LM7 out of a Avalanche to put in with a turbo, but i'll probably pull the 355/200r4 I have in a second gen Camaro and put it in the truck.

There is rust and it still needs alot, but I'm happy to have a C10 again.
