Headlight issue
« on: March 06, 2015, 04:37:27 pm »
Hi guys, just bought a 1983 k10. My headlights and tail lights don't work when I pull the switch. I have break lights/turn signals/hazards. I have power at the yellow wire that comes out of the headlight switch but I don't have power at the dimmer switch. Does the yellow wire run through the fuse panel? I looked at the wiring diagram and it doesn't look like it. Thanks in advance

I had lots of corrosion at my dimmer switch, creating a grounding issue,  which caused my headlights/taillights not to work. This seems pretty common with these trucks.
