The adapters would work good with the late model wheels

If you put late model wheels on without spacers it looks goofy cause it puts the wheels too far up under the fenders

Cool!  I sure hope that's the case because again,,  the adapters I'm looking at are 2" thick.

Thanks again!

Well, you asked to chime in......so:

i think i read that some more reputable companies don't recommend using adapter if changing the number of lugs.  In other words using an adapter to change from one 5 lug pattern to another is ok, but going from 5 to 6, 5 to 8 etc. not recommended.  Don't have time to find the thread right now.

2) i wanted to switch to these wheels, but it was $400 per wheel (new wheels, tires and adapters):

Well , , ,, ,

I ended up buying an '83 C20 for all the suspension parts(14 bolt rear, 2 piece drive shaft, lower control arms, front springs, to put under my dry Arkansas '76 C15 ! ! ! BONUS TOO-- fairly fresh original 454/400 drivetrain!  I'll be parting out the rest I think(dual tanks with switch complete, solid fenders & hood, very nice front bumper, complete A/C system, interior lighting, glove box door & inner plastic(a/c), complete jack assembly, grill, some interior parts, etc)
