Mixture CCC Solenoid and CCC

I have a 1985 K10. It originally came with a 305 and the original owner swapped a 350 in.

I have a rochester on the engine with a mixture control solenoid. So I saw a quickfuel carb near me and snatched it up. Only after I started pulling the old rochester, did I realize I screwed up because the quickfuel is a non feedback carb. Is there any way to bypass this feedback? If I dropped in the quickfuel and left the mixture control solenoid unplugged, would everything run alright if I tune in the new carb? I saw this post : http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/drivetrain/escrepl.htm about bypassing the ESC. Would I have to do that as well?

I realize that was a dumb mistake on my part, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'm not quite understanding what you are trying to accomplish. Why would you buy a quickfuel carburetor to replace a stock carburetor and then be worried about being emissions compliant? What exactly are you trying to do and why did you purchase a totally different carburetor?

I am not trying to be emissions compliant. My question is, if I leave the mixture control solenoid line coming from the control module unplugged, will the car operate like a non feedback would? Just want to make sure leaving that unplugged won't adversely affect any systems outside of the carb.
