Front spring flip?
« on: February 25, 2016, 07:59:46 PM »
Got a lift question.....
So I got a 73 k20....I'm gonna use 4 inch blocks in rear and I'm looking at the front.... (I've never installed  lift before) what if you just flip the springs? They seemed arched downward.....if not what about just lengthining the shackles there attached too? ( I'm a steel fabricator n will be fabing my own parts) would either of these options work?
Truck doesn't really 4wheel much....but does haul weight time to time.......

Neither option will work. Springs only work one way. If you want to lift the front then get proper lift springs.

It is the safest and easiest way.

Stock springs are reverse arched to provide a smooth ride.
