rear brake line fittings

I have a 78 4x4, I need to replace the rear brake lines. Any tips on removing the brake fitting on rear wheels? I tried PB blast and heat with no luck. Any suggestions would be helpful.

since you are replacing the brake lines.cut them off at the fitting.tap the the end of the flare nut with a hammer and use a 6 point socket or a six point boxed end wrench.

This, chances are if your replacing the lines, and you haven't done rear cylinders in the past 12 months, the inside of the cylinders will be all filled with crud.

Short of that vise grips work too if a six point socket keeps slipping.
