location of vin numbers on a frame?

I am looking for the vin numbers on my old frame so i can put them aside.Can anyone tell me where there located on the frame?

Look down on the frame near the steering box or near the drivers side by the cab and bed.

They are stamped into the frame rails. You can't take them off. Mine is stamped right under the plate that the motor mount bolts to and right under neath the drivers footwell.

The only removable VIN plate is located in the door frame on the 73-78 and the dash on 79-up.

Ok nevermind i thought i couldve used a plasma cutter to cut them out but no need to since the frame is junk anyways..
