Rustproof Polyethylene Gas Tank
« on: December 02, 2006, 12:47:00 am »
I was looking through some stuff at jcwhitney and came across this; www.jcwhitney.com/autopar...73/c-10101

I'm looking at replacing my gas tank soon and adding a second one since it used to be there but was removed sometime during the trucks life. I was curious to get peoples opinion on if they think these tanks are worth it or not.

Yes and no.
If you think you will keep your truck more than 10 years,go for it.
If not , I would just throw in a steel one.

If you are going to plow and be out in snow and salt then do it. Otherwise go steel
