hey i am going to change my dash is there any spacial tips yall can give me as soon as i get one i will start 
1980 1/2 ton shortbed project...
1978 pontiac grand prix...

what part are you referring too? The dash pad or the entire dash frame? If you are replacing the entire frame why not do something custom?

I actually seen a guy take a dash from a 1996 truck and install it and it looked factory, but he didnt have anything hooked up so i couldnt tell ya if it worked or not.It looked cool but me i am gonna go with all auto meter gauges and make it look like a cool custom dash setup .

not to sound boring but i am a stock guy, i might try something in the future but for now i am going for orignal
