man i wish... (soon to be) my 68 mercury cougar xr7/ 428 cobra jet. i still have a chance to get it, but it needs a lot of work and the guy wants 2500 for it. i'm not a ford guy, but the cobra jets were some wicked motors. the one i let get away was a 197? El Camino that had a blown 454 stuffed into it. He said it would be mine for 4000. The guy was a friend of mine when i was stationed in california, and I don't have any clue where he or the car went.

Huge,
i own a cougar as well, a 1970 convertible, DONT LET THAT CAR GET AWAY!!!!!! them motors are worth its weight in gold and that price you can turn around and resell it for double your money.I know the economy is soft right now but the musclecars are still going strong.I`m serious man dont let it go.

thanks
