hey when i redone my interior i had a some trouble getting the placstic cover out is there a easy way to do this

it's got a few bolt head screws with large washers on it or supposed to anyways.

Probably 5 or so all staggered about and they are 7mm I think.

If I remember correctly, there are eight bolts that hold it in.  The vent panel gasket might be stuck to the cab.  Wiggle, jiggle and flex it out - that's what I had to do.  It will come out

Be sure to check the very bottom, the scrws near the floor on my truck were caked with 33yrs of grime and hidden.

I remember the driver side one I believe being quite the pain to get out. It has to be finnessed out of it's hole I found because there is a flange on the panel that is on the other side of the hole. That flange I think it just slightly larger than the hole it has to come out of. So you have to wiggle it around until you find the sweet spot to get it out. The e-brake pedal can add more aggravation to it too.

well last summer i took them off and it was a pain and there was no build up behind them so that was good but i guess that is the best way just wiggle and pull

odd, mine is the opposite wa around! The drivers side came off like a champ text book style, but my passenger side has not come off and it's been a couple days of jacking with it here and there!!!!!!

Generally they have to be pushed up in the hole and then the bottom pulled out.
