restoring

well i will not be able to start restoring my truck until i get something to put it in, which will probably be this july and i have not even started my project and i have to replace both rockers and both kick panels and one cab corner, i hope and i would like to get the cab off and get my frame painted but i need to get a bigger air compresser and sand blaster and a welder and i have little time to do this, and little time to get it done so my question is do yall do your project in the fall or just put them up for the fall and winter.

well, i know it seems like it's gonna take forever sometimes (mine does too) but just don't give up hope, it'll happen and when it does it will be worth the wait...

The truck will always be there but do what you can and avoid putting it off for too long. I'm taking a much needed break as you can probably tell from my lack of progress and projects but life comes first!

Yep I usually would wait till I can get ahold of parts, before I can get started on my Project(Ofcourse not having a Garage or Property of my own that I am allowed to work on them don't help either )...   I got a "Project" that has been a part of my life for years(It's been Family since I was 3yrs, and It has been outside the whole time ), but the Parts are too hard to come by, and I don't have anywhere to fab or store a parts car

A few hours here and there makes all the difference. I have a garage next to my house that the truck just about fits in. I find it easier to finish one bit b4 starting the next otherwise i'd have bits everywhere!!

I end up working on my truck all year long, usually in my driveway.  My garage is too small to fit my C20 longbed into and still be able to close the garage door, so I usually just nose her in a couple of feet, if that.  During the winter months I might slack off a bit, but usually have some part or component I'm working on the bench in my garage.  No heat in there, guess I need to invest in a shop heater.
