73-80 front rollpan purchase
« on: August 19, 2008, 10:39:45 pm »
Hello, I'm a new member in the process of restoring ( de-rusting) my prostreet 1975 C10 and it has had a front rollpan installed that was rusted and damaged beyond use and I have unsuccessfully searched for a replacement with a multitude of manufacturers and was wondering if anyone could direct me to a company, distributor, or fabricator that can supply one? I have found several companies that did carry them at one point in time and quit because of low demand and have had no luck and don't want to get into having to weld in frame horns and buying a good bumper as with what I'm doing to the truck it would look better with the rollpan. My painter will try to make one but doesn't really have the tools needed to do one and it will be pricey. Also if anyone has a picture of a 73-80 truck with one installed I would like to see it as I haven't even found a picture of one and it at least would give me some ideas on making one. Thanks for your help, FastEddie59

Wow, I thought Mar-K stopped making them.  I was going to post them last night, but I couldn't find them on their site...
