Welcome from Sacramento!  Sweet looking blazer!  I even like the beater blazer.  :D

Thanks for the welcome everyone.  Very cool site.  Goatbeard told me about the site.  I bought the gold and white stocker about two years ago for $600.00 dollars.  It was missing the carb and distributor.  I brought it home and installed a carb and distributor I had laying around and I fired up and I drove it around the block. Everything seems to work on it but it has a bad lifter. It is in need of restoration but it will have to wait for now. It has rust in the rear quarterpanels behind the wheels but the floor pans are excellent.

I dig the tag and the Luv in the background of one of the build pics. Nice Blazers.

The Chevy Luv was my truck since I was 16.  I sold it just after these pictures where taken to help finance my Blazer build. The Luv had a 231 Buick V-6, Turbo 350 trans, narrowed Ford nine inch rear end, 2 stage tilt bed, over 500 louvers, Centerline rims, and much, much more. Man I miss that truck.

I had it smog legal for California.  I had to run it through the Bureau of Automotive Repair to get it smog legal which means I had to run the two barrel carb. It was still very fast though.  I never got around to adding on the Offenhauser intake and four barrel carb for between smogs. I can only imagine what that little truck would have done.
