Got all the stainless air line plumbed today and it seems to hold air pretty good. Ran out of daylight so tomorrow I plan to chase down any leaks.

Fabbed up a new crossmember for my upper 4 link bars.

Finally got a chance to do a little work again. Got the transmission cross member in. Still need to fab some motor mounts and then I can put the actual transmission mount on the cross member.



Then I notched my front cross member a bit so my bags wouldn't rub.




I found someone to swap my drop spindles with so next week I will be going back to stock spindles. This will help me with lift and give me back some camber which I need.

wow is this truck gonna look awsome me personaly dont like our trucks with choped roofs but everyone is entilted to there opinion and its your truck to bro, but judging from what is done already this truck is gonna look sweet with  "a little off the top" keep up the awsome work and post alot of pics of the roof and any more mods you do love the truck

It's only coming down 2-1/4" so I don't think the end result will be immediately noticable to most. I wanted to keep this mod subtle like the fenders and tailgate.

After work I managed to cut one door so I could see how the window fit was. Not the best pic but you can see how much I will need to widen the rear post to fill that gap back up.


I was also glad to see that the wing window did indeed still fit. As I expected, the top of it protrudes into the door so it won't be able to open. But with the weatherstrip installed you will never know it goes up that high in the door.

Here is an idea for you.  Can you get the metal off the glass on the window?  If you can, take it to a glass shop and they should have a big belt sander that can grind it down to your needs.  Just take a marker and outline what you need.  That way it will still be useable.  Work your magic on the metal to fit back on.  Just an idea

I believe that little window is tempered so it can't be cut or ground down. Could be wrong but that is the way I understand it.

I have a good friend that is a glass man.  I'll call him and ask him.  I used to help him gring glass to fit table tops and what not.  I'll call in a minute...

Thanks! I think that the side windows and back glass are tempered so they can't be modified. The windshield is laminate so it can be cut down without breaking.

Just got off the phone with him and your right.  You would have to have it custom made.  Tempered glass can't be modified that much if any.  Very touchy stuff to modify.  It was a thought...
