on this other web site i belonged to with my 04 impala SS one guys signature was close to the truth as you can get it said "fast, reliable & cheap. But you can only chose two" now the TB spacers even on those cars were BS. so on the trucks i think the resalts are going to be about the same

I agree...just another way of a company getting into a persons wallet. "Hey it's only $50 & I can do it on Saturday afternoon!" Even IF it is good for 4-5 ft.lbs/hp, your not going to feel it. My Two cents, Lorne

The people that have use the CFM tech stuff said they gained about 15hp and about 3mpg.

You can pickup more air by using an injector pod spacer also.

For a 1" to 2" Spacer, they do offer one of the Cheaper Gains with Performance and MPG increase, but those Gains are mainly geared towards a Carb or TBI Setups...   The thing with a Carb/TBI Spacer, is that it helps the fuel Atomization and AirFlow, where as the Throttle Body Spacer an '04 Impala uses, changes the In coming air flow rather than anything with the Fuel.... Changing or Increasing the Airflow to a FI Car/Truck without modifying the PCM to compensate for those changes, would result in the PCM Leaning or Enriching the Fuel Flow, along with it automatically Retarding/Advancing the timing, which would have a negative effect on said Performance/MPG's....

Really any Car/Truck with an ECM/PCM '85-Present would benefit from having the Chip or Computer Flashed to help see the best performance/MPG grains from any perticular mods done to the engine/drivetrain....

Every little bit helps.  I wouldn't expect much of a gain but I don't see why it wouldn't help.

i see what your saying about the tbi/carb setup and the fi cars, that somewhat makes sense but what about the "tornado" creating a "vortex" and boosting mpg and hp. and what about the fuel line magnets lol
