I put buckets in my truck so I could run a sub while sitting normal.  If you could do buckets, I'd get a hold of fisher customs.  www.fishercustoms.com  He made me a sick box for my Cutlass and his quality is excellent.

Look into Stereo Integrity Magnum D2's.  They're awesome subs.  www.stereointegrity.com

it says they are out of them. i will probably go with the kicker ones or the rockford ones. i can get the kicker shallow 12s for like 140 a piece and i just have to modify the box i have now and im good to go.

Wanna be really cool?  I know where you can get some awesome 8" subs.  No body I know runs them but me around here.  www.Sundownaudio.com  Kicker and Rockford subs are not that great.  Those SI's and the Sundowns would walk all over them.

I'm still working on that issue myself.  Let me know when your ready to get some 8's.  I could get you a killer deal on some Sundowns.

rockford is one of the best sub companies out there! i have 61/2s in my doors. there is a custom made box they are in. it works good. (pics on first page) i have a 4 channel amp running my subs and my mids and highs. works pretty good. i might get a mono amp for the subs to get more and change the 4 channel to 2 and do mids and highs with it.

You are very sadly mistaken if you think RF build the "best subs out there".  By no means am I trying to be rude because I love stereo's but I really think you should look into some other brands that make 8's like Sundown, Digital Designs, Image Dynamics to name a few.  They all make excellent products that are far better than anything Rockford has made.  I will ship you my personal 8'' Sundowns if you'd like to demo them in your truck :).
