Big enough to fill the space between the fenders.
I believe the cowl is 2" tall.

I had a friend who welded a scoop on his hood and when he got done he had so much body work to do to straiten it out that it wasnt worth it. I agree with these guys save your money and buy you a good hood. It will be worth it in the long run and you will be much happier with it.

well my idea i had if i got a mold on hood scoop was to glue it on with lord fusor metal bond so that way there wouldnt be any real waring issues and then cut the hood not the bracing so it would be a funcional hood

As long as the scoop has a finished edge the fusor would be fine, but if you wanted it to blend, you are back to square one.
